The Daily Forest Report April 9, 2014 A Welcome Change in Perspective
by nielskunze on April 9, 2014
Our normal forest walk has us exploring on the south side of Dutch Creek which has us gazing across the river at the Hoodoos on the other side. For two days we had been hearing the honking of geese in the river valley, but we were unable to ever spot them. Sitka loves birds and really wanted to meet this pair! We needed to shake things up a bit… so here’s a song to do just that:
(South Side of the Sky by Yes from their 1972 album Fragile)
Next, we decided to take the adventure to the north side of the river and hike up to the top of the Hoodoos to look back upon our usual stomping grounds from the opposite view.
On this day, we were a group of six humans and three dogs… a veritable travelling party enjoying the spectacularly unique perspective.
In short order, our little group was overflown by three eagles and a pair of Canada geese. The geese were flying so low and fast that I couldn’t snap a pic, but I did manage to capture two of the eagles.
Eagle energy speaks assertively of effortlessness. Eagle spends very little time tending to survival needs because he is such a proficient hunter. Eagle is the epitome of being in the world but not of it. Eagle wisely stays out of the fray of terrestrial matters, taking the long view instead, understanding the big picture.
The pair of geese– partners for life– are sure harbingers of spring, having returned from their winter migration. Goose is an excellent totem animal for writers and storytellers. Their vision is keen and they take us easily on imaginary flights to legendary places. Thank you Mother Goose!
Perhaps the part I love the most about Goose’s message is that they have an unshakeable sense of community as well as their lifelong commitment to partnerships, but they also fully respect each other’s individuality. Their flying formation, the familiar V, allows each member of the community to maintain an unobstructed view of the adventure ahead. They never fly directly following one another, but nor do they typically fly alone. They stick together non-hierarchically.
Goose knows what’s going on!
Let’s begin with a song. I believe that if Mother Earth was given the opportunity to sing a song to us all, this is what she might sing. It’s called “Ludvig & Sverker” by the Swedish prog band Beardfish. This is the bonus track piano version from the 2012 album The Void, featuring Rikard Sjoblom, the keyboard player, singer and songwriter for the band.
Now on to business…
It would be good for us all to remember that the TOURS is a non-hierarchical, leaderless assemblage working toward a common goal. I am NOT the leader, despite the sometimes authoritative tone I employ in these missives. I’m just a mouthpiece, and sometimes I miss important parts of the message. And that’s why I’m glad you’re not hesitant to call me to task.
I have no special knowledge in these matters. I’m learning along with everyone else. My job is to remain aware, receptive and humble… and then to pass along what we’re learning here together.
What I would like to address today is a product of my tendency to over-masculinize my personal take on these briefings. Sometimes it takes a few words from just the right feminine “energies” to adequately school me in something critical I’ve missed. Yes, I’ve been schooled!
I’ve recently been reminded that we, here on Earth in physicality, do not create outcomes; we create access to outcomes. Now, what do I mean by that? When we set intentions, we’re taking aim at a particular outcome– a response from the intelligence of the universe. The specific response that we receive is directly reflective of the degree to which we are able to love. Love is the key to access– specifically, self love.
I know that some of you may be horrified that self love as opposed to altruistic love is the key to access. But deep down we all know that it’s true that you can only love another to the degree that you love yourself. Love has to come through you. That bears repeating: love has to come through you. If you’re blocking it within yourself because for whatever reason you feel unworthy, your access to positive/loving outcomes will be severely limited.
This was spelled out to me by the Witches of Old Brunswick. In speaking about our group projects as outlined in Message #5, I placed too much emphasis on procedures and techniques, forgetting altogether the most important factor: love. Focusing on procedure and technique is definitely a masculine trait, and love relies very little on such rationalities. I thank the ladies for straightening me out!
But that’s exactly how this is supposed to work. If you feel I’ve gotten something wrong or made a glaring omission, call me out on it. I make mistakes, plenty of them! But together we’re sure to have all the bases covered.
So in our group projects, evoking and augmenting love– for ourselves and our associates– is really the key to accessing the most favourable of outcomes. Love is a spectrum. At its lowest vibration, love expresses as fear and the need for protection. If we feel very insecure in this life, threatened, then the intelligence of the universe is obligated to provide outcomes to our intentions which validate our choice of experiencing fear… until such a time as we’re willing to face and overcome our fears. That is how the universe expresses the highest vibration of love– by matching the frequency level we ourselves are at.
So when I say that we are creating access, I mean that we are creating access to the level of blessing we’ve prepared ourselves for. Developing our capacity to love unfettered is the crux of everything we’re doing here. Sorry I momentarily missed it.
Now, how do we train ourselves to love ourselves? We’ve all been conditioned to think that self love is somehow misguided. But it is really only ego aggrandizement which leads us away from our goal. Telling yourself repeatedly that you’re the greatest thing since sliced bread, that you’re god’s gift to the world, isn’t what we’re after at all. Love is experienced as a feeling, and it’s not conceited and arrogant– that’s mindstuff.
I’m going to assume that everyone reading these words here have felt at least once in their lives the sweet gentle kiss of love in their hearts. Recall that feeling… often. Feel it expand in your heart until it makes you want to weep with joy. Make feeling love in your own being the most indulgent habit you’ve ever fallen victim to. Let love be your secret addiction. Make yourself weep with joy. Slowly you will begin to notice that the outcomes to all of your intentions will become more loving… toward you and the whole world. It’s a simple practice, but probably the most profound.
And now there’s just one more little thing which I need to address. Some of the TOURS are so used to working alone in this lifetime that they find it nearly impossible to assemble into groups just yet. I can relate. Solitary work as outlined recently in an email from one member may serve to circumvent this obstacle.
“I was sitting in meditation with my eyes half open, focusing my everything on the little candle before me. The sun was setting and the room about me was becoming shadowed. The flame of the little candle danced to the rhythms of my breath; it was beautiful. Suddenly in an instant, I dissolved, and I was aware of myself as the candle flame. We were in communion.”
This is it precisely! This is exactly what we’re after: communion with each other and the world. That is unity consciousness. We can practice this alone in whatever settings we feel most comfortable. We can commune with objects, plants, animals, or even the whole planet herself. Love and beauty seem to be the keys to unlocking this sacred experience for ourselves. If for some reason group activity is prohibitive, seek communion instead as a means to practice oneness. Again, I’m glad to have been reminded of this possibility.
I hope this helps.

The Daily Forest Report April 6, 2014 Good Dog Happy Man
by nielskunze on April 6, 2014
(Good Dog Happy Man by Bill Frisell from his album of the same name)
This is our everyday out in the forest.
Sitka likes to toss around the scrumptious toys she finds in the woods. This one is a deer’s foot.
I know I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating. Sitka’s exuberant displays of pure joy are infectious and consistent. No one can be sad in her presence!
Happy Sunday everyone!
The Daily Forest Report April 4, 2014 In a Foraging Swoon
by nielskunze on April 4, 2014
In the past few days I’ve been cranking out some pretty heady stuff. This promises to be a little lighter in nature. We can classify this as a Foraging Update.
Throughout the winter I was able every day to forage at least two different edibles along my path, and now that the snow has melted, that’s up to three. Although the rose bushes are thorny and mostly barren, there are at least a few clusters of rose hips hanging on from last season in every thicket. Those that aren’t dried and shrivelled actually improve their flavour through freezing and thawing numerous times. Additionally, their outer skin and soft flesh are easier to remove, leaving the core of hard seeds in a convenient state to spit out intact. The well-aged flesh tends to taste like a combination of strawberries and apples with maybe just a hint of cherry. Typically, I’ve been grabbing about a half dozen every day at the very beginning of each walk. Oh, and Sitka really likes them too.
Ever since the majority of the snow melted, I’ve been surprised by the number of bearberries I’ve been finding. The bright red berries are difficult to spot in the fall since the tiny shrubs they grow upon are heavily leafed and the berries develop underneath the foliage. Once winter has ravaged a bit of the greenery, the berries tend to stand out like dog’s balls.
Now, if anyone’s tried bearberries before, they might think I’m nuts for eating them. Their skin is more of a shell, and their insides are filled with powder and seeds. For the most part in the summertime they taste utterly bland and tend to be thoroughly ignored as a result. Once the frost performs some kind of voodoo magic however, the powdery insides turn to something resembling pure sugar. I just crack them open in my mouth, allow the sugar to dissolve and then spit the seeds and shells out. They are extremely excellent in combination with ripened juniper berries.
Juniper berries are rather unique in that they take a full two years on the branch to fully ripen. They are definitely worth the wait! The only ones worth picking are the very darkest ones which are nearly black at times.
I’ve spoken at length previously about their remarkable flavour, but it bears repeating. Most people are familiar with juniper’s gin flavour. In fact, that’s what gin is made from. For the past two years however I have discovered that the ripest berries move right on past that classic gin flavour and take on a sweet cinnamon/clove/black pepper delightfulness. It’s really an exotic bit of foraging ecstasy!
The trick with junipers is to find the specific bush which has an abundance of berries that have hung on through two full seasons. For the past four months I was harvesting a couple of dozen of them from the same bush along my walk every day. Yesterday it finally ran out; I had to find a new bush. The one I found immediately upon establishing my intent is the one pictured above. The berries are the very best I’ve ever tasted. I’m still blown away by the fact that I can make my Forest walk every day through what appears to be the most barren landscape with just the greatest taste in my mouth.
I’m looking forward to learning more about the extensive abundance awaiting my discovery this season!
The Daily Forest Report April 3, 2014 Your Treasures Are All Here Now
by nielskunze on April 3, 2014
I spend a lot of my time just watching Sitka. Out in the woods, she’s a very happy clown! So far we’ve seen a few butterflies– like six or seven– and she loves to chase them. If this year is anything like the last in terms of butterflies everywhere, Sitka will be sure to drive herself crazy with pure joy!
When we encounter deer, which happens fairly regularly, she’s finally learning not to chase them… so much. Yesterday we encountered a small group of about five whitetail near the swamp. Their symbolism speaks to the gentle lure into New Adventure. As Sitka gave chase, amidst my sternest admonishment “Sitka, no!” I was surprised to find that she hardly chased them at all. Perhaps that’s because she quickly found this instead:
Yum! Nothing like a nice fresh deer leg covered in blood, bits of fur and strips of skin. Sitka was quite pleased indeed. She got to work on it immediately.
Scenes like this have recently become so commonplace that I was surprised to learn that Whitetail had a message to deliver.
“Observe the dog. She misses nothing. All of the available treasures she finds with ease. Why?
“She doesn’t dwell on the bones she just dropped on the other side of the swamp. She doesn’t daydream about what things she might find tomorrow. She stays put right in the moment, knowing that all of her opportunities for joy are to be found here.
“Opportunities and choices can only exist in the right here, right now. To think on missed opportunities is a misuse of imagination; it is like reverse worry. To think that more or better opportunities are coming in the future is likewise a delusion. All opportunities are here now. Your power to choose among them is similarly only here now.
“Your contract with the future is written in the language of intention. By all means, set beautiful intentions for yourselves. But your opportunity for realizing those intentions lies in the choices available to you right here, right now.
“Search each moment for every choice that it contains. Truly the choices are infinite, but a mind oscillating between the past and the future is effectively blind to all but the tiniest few. Everything that you might treasure is already here… sometimes in clever disguises, but if you consistently choose to be present with the boundless joy existing in every moment, you will miss nothing.
“Watch the dog; she is a true master of joy!”
A Tarot Reading for the World April 2 – July 2, 2014
by nielskunze on April 3, 2014
There seems to be a great deal of consensus in the cyberspace circles I frequent that right now is the time that things really get moving in terms of global drama and fundamental change. With that in mind, I thought I’d do a full 11-card Celtic Cross tarot spread for the world– in particular, humanity. I was just curious; I’ve never done this before– for the whole world. It’s pretty darn interesting, if I do say so myself!
At the turn of the very first card I knew that this would be pretty much on the money!
1. Position one represents us: humanity. The card is the 13th of the major arcana: Death… which represents deep transformation. (Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that we’re all going to die!) Personally, I’ve always viewed this as a very positive card, especially when drawn in troubling times. I would say that the world is currently in a desperate need for change. “We need to profoundly transform ourselves and our situation. What has outlived its time must pass away to make way for new growth.”
2. The second position represents what surrounds us– the circumstantial and energetic atmosphere. The card drawn is the 3rd of the major arcana: The Empress… who represents creativity. “Creativity is priceless now. Something new is being born. This is a fertile time.”
3. In the third position, we have the Queen of Pentacles who represents Good Fortune, attempting to block our progress. “See how the unfortunate live or risk forfeiting your humanity. Wealthy persons and/or pretenders to wealth may very well be the problem.”
4. The fourth position represents the foundation upon which all this is built. Here we have drawn the Ten of Swords: Ruin. “Crucial to our situation is our ability to cope with a ruinous situation. Though the hopes and dreams of the past may be gone, new ones will arise in time. We will require expert help in order to deal with wounds so deep.”
5. What has gone before occupies the fifth position, and here we have the Queen of Swords representing independence. (This is the only card in the spread which is a bit of a stretch, but Toby, the puppy, jumped up on my lap just as I was drawing it. Nevertheless…) “Past ideas of independence (every man for himself) affect the present situation. The influence of such ideas is waning.”
6. At the crown of the spread, the sixth position represents the goal and a visualization to be kept in mind. Here we have the 18th of the major arcana, The Moon, representing A Night Journey. “We need to believe that we can navigate through this time of darkness, fear and confusion. Visualize the fact that even on a cloudy night the moon is beyond the clouds trying to push back darkness and show us the way.”
7. The short-term outcome, in this case one month, so the beginning of May finds us in the company of the Prince of Hearts who is really Prince Charming. “We will be called upon to develop a romantic spirit with a poetic view of love and life. All intimate relationships will be explored carefully.”
8. In the eighth position we have the Six of Swords informing us how we are to conduct ourselves through this ordeal. It represents Passage. “We shall present ourselves as going through an important rite of passage successfully and moving into a much better time in our lives. We will show each other how profound our transitions are. We will demonstrate to each other how changing our beliefs changed our lives.”
9. The ninth position represents the perspective of “others.” In this case, those who struggle to move along with the rest of humanity. The card drawn here is the Three of Swords: Sorrow. “The outsiders will experience loss, pain and sorrow. Defences will appear to not be working; some will succumb to wallowing in self-pity.”
10. Our collective hopes and fears are expressed in the tenth position. Here we find the Four of Pentacles: Possessiveness. “We hope we will be able to hold on to what we have, managing and protecting what we are each responsible for, but fear that doing so may divert us from exciting new opportunities. Some may fear to appear greedy. Some will fear for an executive.” (executive… execution?)
11. In the eleventh position we find the longterm outcome, in this case three months, or the beginning of July. This position is filled with the 20th of the major arcana: Judgment or Reckoning. “We will enter a time of reckoning and judgment. Prepare for accounts to be settled and past karma to be balanced. Surprising revelations will cause beginnings, endings and the resurrection of things thought long dead or resolved.”
Interesting, no?
The Daily Forest Report April 2, 2014 You Needn’t Wait to Be Trodden Upon
by nielskunze on April 2, 2014
I was a little surprised to find this little puffball intact after the thaw. I certainly have fond memories of eating many of its brethren the previous autumn– before their interiors turned into a mass of powdery spores. I can’t say that they’re delicious, but I did quite appreciate them nevertheless.
I was doubly surprised to find that all the spores were still intact inside and quite dry enough to disperse in a cloud when trodden upon. I was happy to perform this service to my friend the puffball.
I was triply surprised when Puffball decided to deliver a rather profound message!
“You needn’t wait to be trodden upon to share the riches of your inner world, human. I must await an outside agency to complete my life cycle; you are much more self-contained.
“Today, I would speak to you of impulses… those inklings and urgings that arise within you unbidden. You have been well-conditioned to distrust them; allow me to point out your error.
“You have an innate intelligence which operates quite independently from your ego-driven consciousness, although it takes some of its cues from such. That innate intelligence far surpasses the intellect of your ego in its computational and directive ability. It has at least a million times the organizational capacity of your thinking mind.
“Now, when an impulse arises within you– an urge to behave in a particular, and often peculiar, way– your logical mind assesses the proposition of carrying out that inkling and most often can find no logic in it whatever. To behave in such an impulsive manner just seems to make no sense… so you distrust the impulse and squash it. But what your logical mind fails to take into consideration is that your innate intelligence organizes moment-to-moment a picture of reality that is a million times bigger or more detailed than your mind typically organizes from sensory input alone.
“Consider this: You make a decision with your logical mind to walk across the room, navigating around the furniture, to retrieve a particular book from the shelf. Your conscious mind does little more than form the intent to do so in an instant, and maybe– maybe not– correlate the sensory data along the way. (Usually during such a simple task, and especially in familiar surroundings, you need not pay much attention to the sights, sounds, smells, etc. along the way.) It is your innate intelligence which coordinates this incredibly complex task, beneath your mind’s happy oblivion. Think for a moment how difficult it would be to perform even this simple task if your conscious thinking mind had to deliberately tell each muscle involved exactly when and how much to contract or release, keeping you upright and balanced, through a maze of obstacles defined through sensory data consciously processed. Quite simply, your logical mind could not do it; it lacks the organizational/computational ability… and it simply doesn’t know how!
“You easily trust your innate intelligence to carry out your conscious intentions, and it rarely lets you down. However, when your innate intelligence presents intentions of its own– through impulses– to your conscious mind, it is most often ignored. Your innate intelligence is plugged into an incredible array of data streams; it knows your true position in reality much better than your thinking mind ever could. Why do you insist upon mistrusting it?
“Your impulses will lead you to your fullest growth expression… if you allow them. Yes, when they occur, they may seem completely illogical. If you beheld a jigsaw puzzle of a million pieces unassembled, do you think it likely that you could logically guess the picture from a single piece? Trust that you are not a flawed being. Every living thing you see around you trusts its innate intelligence– acts on its impulses. Is the rest of Nature wrong to do so? Ponder it.”
Hm… I have nothing to add at this time…
Message To/From the TOURS #9 More Q & A (Team Of United Renegade Sovereigns)
by nielskunze on April 1, 2014
Before I get to the questions, there’s just a couple of brief items to address. First, the above artwork is courtesy of a web presence who goes by the name of Valiant. Intuitively, I feel that this visual prop can serve to augment the efforts of the TOURS. It is well geared toward energetic integration, especially mind-body synthesis. Use it as a tool if you feel so moved. (I consider it another “trigger.”)
Next, we have a brief message from Raven Nation. This has come through the dreamtime and is not from my daily walks in the woods (or else it would be presented in a Daily Forest Report; things ARE beginning to overlap, though). “Humans, evolve now, or get out of the way! We are the spokespersons for the Animal Nations Coalition, and you will not be permitted to continue with the destruction of the Living Earth.” Well, that’s pretty clear! Raven is very closely allied with Moose who represents the Divine Feminine on Earth. I think we’re looking at the sacred energy of a mother scorned. We don’t want to mess with that! Individually, you may wish to keep an eye out for Raven; I am always closely scrutinized on my forest walks. Perhaps you’ve already noticed the ravens and crows in your own area are particularly vocal right now… and their admonitions are definitely directed at us!
And now the questions…
Q: I visit a fair number of blogs on a daily basis and recently it seems as though more and more of the messages are intertwined or maybe feeding off of each other. Is this a deliberate thing?
A: Yes, and it’s occurring at two distinct levels. At the conscious level of our internet interactions, those of us who are working toward similar goals have been drawn to reading each other’s material. We are discovering a great deal of agreement. This is the mirror image of what is also occurring beneath the surface at the level of the collective. We’re actually meeting up in the dreamtime, having discussions, and then posting our individual takes on those discussions on our respective blogs. I’d say it’s all coming together rather nicely.
This next question follows from the above, and although it may not be familiar to all readers here, it deserves a brief response nevertheless.
Q: After tons of hype, Courtney Brown made his “big” announcement on March 15th. Weren’t you disappointed?
A: Yes, I certainly was… but not for the reason you suppose. Dr. Brown is the director for the Farsight Institute, dedicated to the exploration and establishment of remote viewing as a valid scientific methodology. During the weeks leading up to his grand announcement, Dr. Brown released a number of “Implications Postings.” From those postings it was very clear to me that he understood very well how worlds are changed; never from the top down, and always from the bottom up. At any given time, the leadership of a group reflects the basic collective belief of that group. If such leadership is left wanting, the problem must be addressed at the level of shared belief; to merely change the figurehead of the leadership will do nothing. Real change ALWAYS occurs at the grassroots level; that’s where the change in belief must be anchored; there can be no exceptions.
So as I awaited the official announcement, I had already deduced that it would entail a revelation pertaining to the wider acceptance of remote viewing– since that’s what Dr. Brown’s life is dedicated to. Establishing such a “fact” would grant humanity a very useful tool for dispelling propaganda and accessing information in a totally decentralized way. In my opinion, Courtney Brown delivered exactly what he promised. In that regard I was not disappointed.
What I was sorely disappointed with was the reaction of the “New Age” community. There are apparently so very many who think themselves highly evolved and “awakened” who are still awaiting the “magic pill” that’s going to transform this world in a fanciful moment. Any such top-down magic pill can only be employed as a deception. Remember, real change has to occur at the basic level of individuals adopting and energizing new beliefs; anything else is just a magic show. All of the “New-Agers” who are still waiting for that magic pill might as well be waiting for that proverbial flying unicorn named Jesus. There’s really no difference. It comes down to YOU doing the work as an individual; stop looking for someone else to do it for you!
And this next question follows directly from that one…
Q: For a couple of years already we’ve been hearing about something referred to as The Event. There’s a lot of information on the net about many aspects of The Event; what’s your take on it?
A: Honestly, a couple of years ago I was pretty sucked into The Event scenario. I was stuck in a limbo consciousness of waiting… any day now… any day it’s all going to change…
Whether “The Event” ever happens is not at all my concern. I don’t know specifically how to bring such a thing about. I do know how to bring about a series of small transformational moments however… for myself, and for others willing to entertain my methods… or perhaps my madness.
If the cumulative effect of all our little transformations can bring about a catalyzing event upon the world stage, I’m all for it. How such an event might manifest, I’m not really qualified to say, and as the questioner already pointed out, there’s plenty of material out there espousing exactly such speculation. It is my hope that The Event might be something like the “religious” experience I described in the last Q & A session, where everyone may experience, roughly simultaneously, a moment where we all feel undeniably connected to everything– a oneness moment, if you will. I have every confidence that the intelligence of the universe is such that such a psychedelic experience can be achieved without the complications and side-effects attendant with hallucinogenic substances. May we all have a beautiful “trip” through The Event! Bring it on!
Q: How can you recommend channeled material to support this effort when you’ve disparaged such material in the past?
A: The recommendation to which the questioner is referring is the Seth Book, The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, as channelled by Jane Roberts. Truthfully, I heartily recommend all of the Seth Books. My disparagement of some of the other channelled material out there is based in its superficiality.
There’s a few things I look for in the daily and weekly channelled material which proliferates on the web nowadays when I make summary judgments. Any material which even suggests that ETs are coming to save us from ourselves is propaganda. Similarly, any messages telling us of esoteric methods and procedures that are secret and usually complicated, describing a larger “Objective” reality– of this is how it is– and you need to learn these special visualizations and meditations… they’re not for me. Evolution isn’t ever about who you know with their special knowledge and methods which only get doled out to a select few. The God who dwells in me would never set it up that way! And lastly, any channelled material which disparages, undermines, or dismisses our Earthly experiences here in the “illusion” is simply grossly misinformed. Although we have struggled mightily in this realm, it was NOT all just a waste of time. What we have achieved here is utterly monumental and we deserve congratulations, not offhanded dismissal of our “mistake.”
Compare the Seth material. It is extremely intelligent, consistent and artfully presented. The insights which Seth has stylishly presented over thousands of pages of material is simply stunning and more than impressive. In my opinion, it is unimpeachable. (Mmm… I love peaches!)
Messages should never be judged on the credentials of the messenger. That includes everything I write too. I beg of thee, do not believe a word I say just because it comes from me and you’ve decided for some misguided reason to trust me implicitly. I make mistakes, lots of them. But we all just have to be willing to learn and to develop our own barometers of truth along the way. Learn to recognize when propaganda is taking your power away, and when a real teacher is providing tools for your own reclamation of power and subsequent transformation. It’s actually not that hard with practice.
Q: On a recent Facebook post you commented about a double-slit experiment. I didn’t understand what the original post was about, nor did I understand your “explanation.” You seem to disagree though with “Victory of the Light!” Do you?
A: It doesn’t matter whether readers here ever saw the Facebook post in question or not. There is something fundamental here which needs to be addressed.
The original post, by a friend of mine, was merely advising caution with the phrase “Victory of the light!” He was making reference to Lucifer who is known as the Light(bearer). These types of personages do exist, whether as archetypal constructs or as true ensouled entities, I cannot say… so the warning is valid.
I added to that the description of the classic physics experiment for demonstrating the wave properties of light. It’s called the Double-Slit Experiment. The point I was trying to make is that even when a single source of light is filtered through two slits (duality) what results is an interference pattern consisting of alternating bands of light and dark upon a screen. The crucial thing to understand here is that the darkness is created solely with light. The dark bands occur where the trough of one wave meets the crest of the other and they cancel each other out. That’s called destructive interference. Metaphysically, the implication of this is that even when there’s only one true source of light, when it’s viewed through a dualistic filter, darkness will be created. Currently, our minds are just such a dualistic filter. Light alone is not the absolute answer for darkness. “Victory of the light!” is way too simplistic.
Our answers will never lie in choosing one polarity over another. Our task is rather to establish and maintain a position which is called the sacred neutral. We accept the right of each polarity to exist, for in truth, polarities cannot exist in isolation; one always implies the other; the relationship between them cannot be obliterated; it can be obscured or hidden though. Stop falling for this choosing of one thing over another. All that exists has the right to exist; it is all part of the One. Reintegration is simply not possible if we’re forever seeking to eradicate those aspects we find distasteful. Even in the sacred neutral we are allowed our preferences in terms of what we wish to experience, but we are not permitted to utterly destroy what we don’t like and deprive all others from choosing what they prefer to experience.
So, on that note… “Victory of the sacred neutral!”
That is all.
The Daily Forest Report March 31, 2014 Leftovers and Antici…pation
by nielskunze on March 31, 2014
I know; it makes you think of Frankenfurter, right? And Tim Curry in his fishnet stockings is… well, disturbing. Well, honestly, we’ve been “turbed” quite enough, thank you very much; it’s time now for a little disturbance… without having to kick us all squarely in the complacencies!
The sun comes up on cliffs of mud,
Squeezed and trodden memories between my toes;
Held frozen and captive in prison hearts,
My brain begins to melt, and oozing, flows…
I recall the messages from Brother Bear,
Invisible sovereign turning stones;
In fields of berries leftover here,
Sitka gnaws on gigantic bones!
I’m all a-quiver in anticipation. Every day I expect to see the evidence of Bear having emerged from his winter den. I’ve been careful to leave him bearberries and juniper and rose hips dried upon the branches in the fields. He’ll be hungry for pleasure and vindication.
We were well instructed to contemplate the meaning of sovereignty in a prison system. First we had to pry the bars from our befuddled vision, before making any bold declarations to silent universes smothered in our own breasts. We’re ready now… to stand in our own strength, alongside Brother Bear, fearlessly.
There’s nothing left to fear. We already have everything we ever wanted. We were taught to strive beyond our reach; all the while our hands were tied behind our backs. There’s nothing more pathetic than slaves trying to look dignified.
Let us be filthy in our emancipation instead! The Earth is warm mud and laughter… And ha! Oldentimes, the joke’s on you. Roses will be here soon… in their pink hue and spices– they’re invincible! We never grew old; it was all just a ruse… to make us open our eyes… and see ourselves wise.
Yeah, looks good from where I’m standing!
