The Daily Forest Report June 3, 2014 Did/Can You Feel It?

by nielskunze on June 3, 2014

Did you feel it?

So much shifting and movement internally… followed by nearly instantaneous manifestation externally… Damn! It’s getting exciting!

The trickster energy abounds.

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.34.45 AM

But the flavour of the energy is not at all of deception; it is pure playfulness. Pictured above is the “work” of Coyote… from several weeks ago… But “someone” brought two deposits together into one grand statement, knowing that it wouldn’t escape my attention. Then, this…

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.33.10 AM

Sitka, the forensic archeologist, discovered this bone (scapula?) lodged in the roots of this downed tree. All of the evidence would indicate that it was deliberately placed there… in a remote part of the dense forest about twenty yards from the path. Was Sitka gently “nudged” in the right direction to discover it?

And then down by the river it got really interesting!

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.30.29 AM

This was the canopy above me… where the most delightfully curious thing occurred. Movement caught my attention, and as I looked up I thought that perhaps it was just a breeze rustling the leaves and branches, for I could not see anything else. But the leaves and the branches continued to jostle and shake exactly as though a small critter of some sort was moving about in the canopy above. I observed the unmistakable disturbances for at least fifteen seconds, expecting at any moment to finally catch a glimpse of the creature causing all the fuss. There was no squirrel, no bird… and no wind could cause that kind of localized movement. Something utterly invisible was fucking with me… and I loved it! (I’m pretty sure the Sasquatch People read my blog.)

This exciting and strange experience preceded the discovery of the first blooming rose of the season just moments later. I knew exactly where the first bloom would occur; it was the precise blossom that was pictured in a Report from just a few days ago.

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.28.48 AM

It had just fully opened, and already White Spider was lurking underneath. I ate it– not the spider, silly, the rose. I commandeered its energies and performed a little heart-opening ceremony for the whole world right there on the spot in an improvisational moment. It felt good… and even a bit important.

When I got back to the truck, the patches of wild roses in the surrounding area had suddenly jumped into the orgy of blossoming too!

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.26.04 AM

Three hours earlier, none of these buds had opened!

And now, this morning, as I checked the news at all the alternative sites I frequent, I must say that this has been the most positive glut of news ever! The People worldwide are expressing their heartfelt desires and achieving significant victories in so many places. (Those who look with “traditional” eyes will undoubtedly see the opposite. Oh well, sucks to be you!)

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.32.02 AM

Certainly, there are still clueless ones, even here in my Sacred Space who still pretend that the world is their garbage can. I find it very difficult to understand the mentality which looks around this place and says “Hey, a beer can might look good over here.” It was even half full– a double beer crime! You are forgiven even as your heart explodes! (I wonder if you’ll survive?)

Screen Shot 2014-06-03 at 8.27.27 AM

And the old lies are nothing more than dried husks, displayed in the light for all to see. Right from the beginning, it was inevitable. When the leadership begins lying to the People, the lies– of a necessity– become compounded until they reach a point of such ridiculousness that even the densest among us can no longer deny them.

We have arrived! Breathe. And try out your brand new peepers… and feel free to be astonished at what you see!

The Daily Forest Report June 2, 2014 The unVulcan Mind-Meld

by nielskunze on June 2, 2014

(Wonderous Stories by Yes from their 1977 album Going For the One)

I’m comfortable having birds and thoughts flying through my mind interchangeably. Forest telepathy doesn’t seem invasive or unnatural at all.

Photo on 14-06-01 at 8.19 AM

This is the first illustration in Kewaunee’s latest book on the Sasquatch People. I find it very interesting that the bird pictured is specifically a Bald Eagle… seeing how I have been interacting with Bald Eagle daily for about a month already. Sasquatch eyes in the sky…

Yesterday, as I was washing up at the river, I looked across to a small set of cliffs, and as my eyes rested intuitively on a particular locale, suddenly Eagle flew up from the very spot I was viewing. Perhaps we had just made eye contact; Eagle might know, but my eyes aren’t that good… it wouldn’t surprise me.

I also just recently looked into legends or myths surrounding hoodoos, since that is the predominant land formation defining this corner of the valley. Here, you can see them in behind the Silverberry bushes which are just coming into bloom with their obnoxious (to some) perfume.

Screen Shot 2014-06-02 at 8.24.13 AM

Hoodoos are magical. In fact, the word denotes a system of sorcery not unlike voodoo. I can certainly attest to their spell-casting ability as they capture and transfix nearly every tourist who lays eyes upon them. You just expect strange things to abound in their immediate influence.

As I watched Eagle fly up from the cliff across the river and circle a dozen times above me, my thoughts were about other-dimensional portals… I’m weird that way! This seemed to be some form of tacit confirmation.

Prior to this but still very recently, I was examining rose bushes, taking particular note of their retarded (delayed) development this season. As I formed the very distinct thought in my mind that “There is an active force in the world right now suppressing heart-opening energy,” Raven immediately cawed loudly and flew very low over my head from behind. Again, this seemed like a very strong confirmation. We will have to make a conscious effort to overcome this temporary blockage.

And finally, on occasion, the Forest likes to test my resolve. I’ve long believed that it’s valid to gauge the growth and development of an individual by deliberately pushing his hot-trigger buttons to see exactly how enlightened might be his response.

Screen Shot 2014-05-31 at 7.13.45 PM

Yes, this is Sitka covered from head to tail in shit. She got two thorough baths this day… and I’m happy to report that I totally kept my cool while communicating to her that this was not at all acceptable.

Of final note, there was a medium pile of bear sign on the sub-Mesa– a very unusual place to find evidence of Bear.

Screen Shot 2014-06-02 at 8.20.20 AM

The larger animals tend to stay away from the river valley during the summer months because the loud rush of the river interferes with their cognizance of their surroundings. I can attest that it’s very easy to sneak up on fishermen at the river. It’s not really a safe place for animals.

Well, that’s it. There’s so much going on every day now that the messages are multi-layered but concise. You’ll have to do some of the dot-connecting yourself.

The Daily Forest Report May31, 2014 Inexplicabilities

by nielskunze on May 31, 2014

I am being scrutinized ever more closely… It makes me wonder if I’m being recruited.

A couple of days ago, it was two ravens circling up above where the truck is parked at the end of the walk. They were really chatting up a storm. And then clearly up above them I could make out Young Eagle circling even higher. Three pairs of eyes… focused on me.

Yesterday, Young Eagle followed us the entire way, at first, keeping just out of sight among the adjacent treetops, but calling out with his piercing wail at spaced intervals. And then once we were down at the river, we discovered that there are actually two young eagles working in tandem.

Screen Shot 2014-05-31 at 8.45.43 AM

In this footage, there’s no place where both eagles are framed in a single shot, but there were clearly two of them circling above, still occasionally calling out. (And I hope you can appreciate that it’s difficult to shoot film footage of eagles through the thick forest anyway.)

The eagles were calling me to remembrance, for this has in truth been a twenty year journey… and now as I’ve been researching the myriad anomalies surrounding the Sasquatch People, a few more puzzle pieces fall into place…

Briefly…

There was a time when I was hiking through the swamp on a hot day and I sat down to rest and mop the sweat from my face. It was a very quiet day. Suddenly without any preamble, there was the distinct sound of two rocks being banged together about twenty yards directly in front of me. Then, the same sound repeated a second later immediately to my right, again, about twenty yards away. A second after that, it was heard again twenty yards behind me… and then, of course, it happened a fourth time in rapid succession twenty yards to my left. I was dumbfounded, for there was no logical explanation as to what could account for such a distinct sound occurring in such rapid succession from all four cardinal points surrounding me. I wasn’t scared, just puzzled.

On another occasion, more recently, I was returning from a quick visit from my deep woods cabin, nearing the place at the swamp where all these strange things seem to occur, when the unmistakable sound of a tree falling nearby made me stop dead in my tracks. It was a sunny windless day. I assumed that a bear must’ve pushed a tree over deliberately, or it fell as he tried to climb it. There was no bear nor bear sign in the vicinity, and what’s more, there was no freshly fallen tree! I heard it; it was only about– again– twenty yards away by the sounds of it. There was a leaning tree which was hung up among its neighbours, but it could hardly account for the crashing sounds I heard!

And then… okay, this one’s really weird. It was down by the river. Everything was seemingly normal… and then as I looked out across the river where it opens up beneath the hoodoos, my mind slipped into a dreamy state unbidden. I was instantly hypnotized and transfixed– transfixed by what I was seeing flying down the river valley. It appeared to be a humanlike being of about six feet in height with huge wings soaring downriver. I believe these are referred to as Thunderbirds or Thunderbeings. Once it disappeared over the horizon, I immediately returned fully to my normal consciousness. I had no idea what to make of the experience, so I just filed it away in my X-Files.

These are more dots begging to be connected. I’m sharing them at the risk of ridicule because… well, I don’t give a shit what you think… and it’s time for us to share the inexplicable things. We all have little stories tucked away in closets. There’s a larger experience begging to be explicated here…

The Daily Forest Report May 30, 2014 Dissecting The Creational Moment

by nielskunze on May 30, 2014

Screen Shot 2014-05-30 at 8.54.02 AM

“Why did you do it?”

“Do what?”

“Create this tangent, this divergence?”

“You mean this experience of separation?”

“Yes. Why did you do it?”

“To see what it would be like.”

“To see what what would be like?”

“Um…”

Screen Shot 2014-05-30 at 8.51.52 AM

I never know what I’m going to discover, just that there’ll be something new… and unexpected. I found a couple of puffballs…

“The creational moment…”

“What about it?”

“That’s what you’re exploring… the reason for all this.”

“And when you say ‘all this’… which portion is the creational moment?”

“All of it. Granted, it’s easy to overlook; the creational moment only lasts about fourteen billion years.”

Screen Shot 2014-05-30 at 8.52.48 AM

And so I ate them… and they were delicious!

Screen Shot 2014-05-30 at 8.50.20 AM

“You wanted to experience the creational moment outside of yourself. You needed to slow it down… to break it up into manageable chunks… in order to better understand it.”

“Yeah, that sounds about right. And the last fourteen billion years is how it unfolded?”

“Yes.”

Screen Shot 2014-05-30 at 8.49.22 AM

This is Gentian. I had never spoken with Gentian before. She’s a bitter, tonic herb, useful as a substitute for hops as a bittering agent in beer (flowers and/or roots). She’s pretty too.

“But even after fourteen billion years the creational moment still seems pretty mysterious!”

“Only because you are still perceiving with less than the totality of your being. You still experience it outside of yourself. When you’re being creative, do your creations fully form within you before you evince them in the external reality?”

“No. There’s always a certain amount of give-and-take. I’m always at least a little bit surprised where my creations end up… but I like it; it’s instructive.”

“It’s you interfacing with you… as the separate, small self… as the whole… within the all… of One. Do you begin to see the depth of understanding you’ve gleaned?”

“You mean in the last fourteen billion years or so?”

“Yes.”

“Um… yes, I guess so.”

“No. There’s no more guesswork involved. Now you KNOW.”

Instead of the River’s usual rising,
It’s rather cutting ever deeper,
Washing the graves from soiled minds,
The brainwash purged from every sleeper.

And who wears their heart on their sleeve anymore?
The Naked Emperor for all his distractions
Pours out words and rhetoric so empty and hollow;
His lies made obvious by each of his actions.

Screen Shot 2014-05-29 at 8.50.33 AM

And as all that was hidden stands up in the light,
There’s hearts here among us wise to the ploy.
In a relentless moment of shocking sunlight
All hearts burst to these teardrops of joy!

The Daily Forest Report May 28, 2014 A Few Scattered Pieces of the Same Cosmic Puzzle

by nielskunze on May 28, 2014

When the World was still in disunity consciousness, we were all covertly linked in our orneriness. We all fought for our smidgeon of Cosmic Pie. It was the way of it; we were convinced of the correctness of our hair-trigger indignation.

I suppose it’s inevitable that our disunity broke down… into self-consistent regroupings. But that makes for some odd timing issues…

Screen Shot 2014-05-28 at 8.35.09 AM

It’s nearly June and the Chokecherries have finally come into full bloom, spreading the wafting allure of timelessness in vanilla overtones to the once over-scheduled and regimented denizens of the Forest. I was surprised to see all the wasps and hornets indulging in such sweetness and perfumery… especially this early in the season.

Meanwhile, nary a rose has begun to bloom. Somewhere… somewhere fundamental… and central… hearts are still congested. Oh Rose, you spiritual angioplasty, push on… to unclog us all!

If that was “meanwhile,” then this is downright nastywhile…

Screen Shot 2014-05-28 at 8.38.23 AM

Like the King’s head on a pike in the castle courtyard after the peasants stormed the ramparts, the Lying Snake is still on display… as a reminder… as a template for swift and hard justice. The ants work tirelessly to salvage the very best from gruesome situations. If you know Ant, you know he’ll never give up; he’d rather die in The Noble Quest.

Screen Shot 2014-05-28 at 8.36.43 AM

And Young Eagle still comes daily to mentor us, to remind us of our own soaring spirits… but we thought Mother grounded us; we were bad after all, weren’t we? Young Eagle shrieks “No! You did what you had to… You were so lost in the dark!”

Sitka is such a good skywatcher. She’s the one who usually spots Eagle first. I try to pay attention, but my money’s no good here. The dog is in charge; give her credit… I’m over-limit.

We’re still learning… as we look outward for signs, we’re handed polished mirrors instead. But we want news! And the happy truth is that it’s new every damn moment. What more do you want?

Message To/From the TOURS #14 A Sovereign Unity

by nielskunze on May 27, 2014

(Team Of United Renegade Sovereigns)

Unity consciousness entails a vast spectrum. On the one end of the scale is the quantitative, arithmetic form of unity consciousness typically referred to as the hive mind. The participants in a hive mind simply add “weight” to the pool of consciousness– each one adding the same “amount” of weight or force. It is the “strength in numbers” of brute force. Individual predilections, talents, gifts, etc. are not valued in a hive mind, and are generally considered disruptive and undesirable. The hive mind is strictly hierarchical, where actionable decisions are made from the top down; it is dictatorial and conformist by nature. Participants are interchangeable and replaceable. The hive mind works well to maintain the status quo.

Unity consciousness based in individual sovereignty, on the other hand, is decidedly qualitative– its qualities being uniquely determined by and through its participants. Its power of perception is geometric rather than merely additive; its capacity for affecting change (within collective belief structures) is exponential. Conscious unity among sovereigns is a non-hierarchical agreement, wherein individual predilections, talents, gifts, etc. are actively sought and engaged and clearly valued. Decision-making occurs through deliberate and considered consensus. Individual participants are not replaceable, and therefore each sovereign unity is unique unto itself, expressing different attributes according to need and aptitude. It is highly adaptable and evolutionary.

As members of the TOURS, we seek the latter.

Historically, prior to 2011, Earth, at the level of the collective unconscious, was in agreement to explore disunity consciousness. Essentially, we agreed to disagree, but our agreement was individually unknown to each of us. This was the path of exploration known as fragmentation. For many millennia, our psyches have been divided; portions of ourselves were hidden from ourselves. Who caused this? We did. We did it to ourselves… knowing the risks. How did we do it?

First we invented dreaming. We divided our psyches into two halves: awake and asleep; day and night; and from this, all of the other myriad polarities ensued. The interesting– and most critical– thing to understand in this is that what we typically refer to as our awakened state– our daytime lives– is actually the dream, the collective dream, a most persistent dream. It is maintained primarily through the cognitive exercise of “naming.” Language casts the spell that we’re under. We constantly objectify the contents of the collective dream by identifying things as being separate from ourselves and from each other. It is a habit we have learned exceedingly well. It is how we have created the relativistic realm where every “thing” is defined by its relationship to everything else. Absolute truth presents/expresses itself differently to each participant.

As we dream while asleep in our beds, we typically identify with the contents of our dreams, knowing them to be symbolic representations of our own vastness… our own psyches. What we here in Earth physicality call dreaming is a return (or at least a nod) to our unlimited selves. It is the undifferentiated state from whence we came. We have experienced such difficulty with the term “awakening” because of our inverted understanding of the dreaming mechanism.

Our agreement to tread the path of fragmentation is essentially an agreement to enter into conflict. Conflict, with its ebb and flow of power– struggle and conquest, tends to become addictive and habit-forming. The pendulum of experience swings to exquisite extremes! We are held in conflict, in fragmentation, through trauma-based mind control. We have all contributed to setting up the systems of our own abuse… so that we could thoroughly explore the very limits of our own fragmented psyches; this was the agreement for disunity consciousness.

Now, quite recently, we made and installed the collective decision to begin entering into unity consciousness. The initial part of the process was to break the agreement of our disunity consciousness. (Yes, you may have noticed that we reside in paradox.) As our disunity consciousness collective– our agreement to be in conflict– broke apart, our natural tendency toward unity immediately began expressing itself by creating multiple reality bubbles throughout Earth. There are currently approximately 1500 separate realities being expressed on Earth at this time. They are expressed geographically and are characterized or defined by the dominant beliefs infusing each locale. Today, as we travel the globe, we are literally traversing separate realities, each with a unique set of conditioning parameters. This global fragmentation now needs to be healed. How do we do that?

It will be the consciousness of individual sovereigns residing in each and every reality bubble who will form a new agreement to enter into the highest (most adaptable and evolutionary) form of unity consciousness possible. This new conscious unity will override all the old belief structures which are habitually based in disunity consciousness. In so doing, the world will be healed and united… and ready for a whole new class/realm of exploration/experience.

The key to all of this is sovereignty. Sovereignty is the reunification of our own fragmented psyches; we become whole… and we become fully conscious of our individual totalities. We accomplish this through recognizing and addressing those places where our psyches are still divided. As much as we like to fool ourselves that we are highly conscious beings, the truth is that the vast majority of our personal identities still reside in wholly subconscious realms. Our egos are the 1%; our subconscious minds are the 99%. We are fully complicit in our own oppression. The remedy is to free our subconscious minds from the self-imposed shackles of our prior agreements. Those agreements are no longer relevant and do not serve our world’s agenda moving forward. If, for a second, you think that you have no unconscious or subconscious fetters personally, please consider that advertising has been around for a very long time and it is a huge multi-billion dollar enterprise… because it works. It is only one glaring example how each of us is potentially influenced beneath the level of our conscious awareness.

Screen Shot 2014-05-27 at 10.31.05 AM

Next, I wish to present a tool for our emancipation, the establishment of our sovereignty. This comes from Andrew Bartzis, our Galactic Historian. Andrew has prepared Spiritual Contract Removal scripts which are designed to free us from our subconscious fetters in order that all outstanding karma from our journey through conflict might finally be resolved. Andrew is one of the very few people on the planet who presents an even more convoluted narrative of our current dilemma than I do. I concede that he is better informed than I. These scripts are meant to be read aloud as a proclamation to the totality of ourselves as a means of reintegration of the 99% back into conscious awareness. This is the awakening we seek in our daytime “waking” lives.

For now, I will simply provide the link to the Galactic Historian’s site where the scripts are located. Please read them aloud at least once… and then make your own decision as to whether to continue with them on a daily basis. If you discern no positive effect, they may be altered and personalized in order to resonate more clearly with your own individuality. At the very least, these scripts call forth and formalize the intent to become whole, healed and sovereign… and that is the empowered state the TOURS members seek.

In the immediate future I intend to provide audio recordings of each of these Spiritual Contract Removal scripts. I will do this both for my own “selfish” reasons as well as for the ease of use for my readers and the TOURS members. I will embed the audios within copies of the written scripts so that they may be listened to while reading along. Eventually, you may wish to record your own versions. The frequency of our own voice as it’s heard objectively through a recording is a powerful healer and motivator. It is something I can personally confirm from the past two years of narration of much of my own material.

The Slow-Boiling Prog

by nielskunze on May 25, 2014

When we’re young– and all we want is to fit in– very simplistically, we think that we can carve out a unique identity for ourselves merely by proclaiming our personal preferences, especially those pertaining to music…

Screen Shot 2014-05-25 at 5.55.40 PM

(Words and Miracles by Izz from their 2012 album Crush of Night)

But music is a direct representation of the sacred and complex geometry of time-space. The mainstream would have us believe this is a two-dimensional universe… okay, maybe three. (That’s why Justin Bieber’s more popular than a turd at a convention of flies.) Pop music is supposed to get stuck in your head like a post-hypnotic suggestion, whereas Prog (progressive rock) doesn’t even work as background music; if you’re not actually paying attention to it, it’s kind of annoying. And often the songs really suck until about the sixth listen… when suddenly, inexplicably, they’re the awesomest thing ever! It’s like new cognitive patterns and synapses have to be created first– yes, exactly like that!

Our focus here today is on the progress of Prog. This first song is a direct nod to seventies greats Gentle Giant. The kids from Izz even borrowed the guitar player from Gentle Giant, Gary Green, to help with the composition and playing.

(excerpt of Author of Confusion by Neal Morse from his 2004 album One)

This one too gives the nod to Gentle Giant in the multi-layered vocals which are present only in the last minute or so of this excerpt. (The reason for excerpts in this post is that there’s a 7MB limit to media uploads on my blog which translates roughly to 7 minutes of high quality MP3. Many, if not most, prog songs are longer than 7 minutes, so I’m required to do some editing.)

(Day of Innocence by Izz from their 2009 album The Darkened Room)

It’s difficult to choose just one song that’s representative of each of these diverse artists… so sometimes I select a second one. Izz is rather deserving in my opinion.

(The Lonely Views of Condors by Sieges Even from their 2005 release The Art of Navigating by the Stars)

Sieges Even has long been my favourite German prog band. Musically they’ve always been impeccable, but over the years they had great difficulty finding a vocalist who was a suitable match… until they finally hooked up with the Dutchman Arno. (This is the only song on this page I had to pull from YouTube because I gave away my copy of the CD– to Shane, the singer in my band. That’s the reason the quality is a tad subpar. All of these songs are recorded in real time through my studio sound board. I learned long ago that the Mackie– specifically its sub-mixing channels– make all music sound a bit better– warmer. This one though, the damage had already been done; you can hear it especially in the poor sound quality of the cymbals.)

(June by Spock’s Beard from their 2004 album The Kindness of Strangers)

This one’s not particularly proggy… but even when prog bands are just playing straight ahead rock, it tends to be pretty kickass anyway! The singer is Neal Morse. This is his old band before he went solo… due to a promise he made to God.

(Here I Am by Echolyn from Suffocating the Bloom)

These fellows are amazing. All but one of their albums have been recorded at their home studios. Their magnum opus is a song/album called Mei, but that song’s 45 minutes long, and to choose a seven minute excerpt would just be plain wrong.

(The Canterbury Sequence by The Tangent from their 2003 album The Music That Died Alone)

These British blokes are giving a clear nod to the whole Canterbury music scene of the seventies, especially Hatfield and the North whose albums are classics! I may in the future do an entire blog post on the Canterbury scene and all of its tangled offshoots; what an era!

(Ballad of the Sacred Cows by Tiles from their 1999 album Presents of Mind)

By virtue of rumour, these guys were supposedly the inheritors of the Rush legacy– albeit an American counterpart. They even hooked up with former Rush producer Terry Brown. I chose an instrumental for comparison to the song which follows… also instrumental.

(Leave That Thing Alone by Rush from their 1993 release Counterparts)

Just when I’d pretty much given up on Rush– I grew up a 2112 kid– they came out with this magnificent effort in the early nineties when rock music went through a much-needed renaissance. They are the masters!

(At Home Watching Movies by Beardfish from their 2009 album Destined Solitaire)

No, this one’s not really representative of Beardfish. They are perhaps Sweden’s best answer to progressive music. I’ve featured them elsewhere, so here’s just a snippet this go-round.

(Normal by Porcupine Tree from their 2007 album Nil Recurring)

Steve Wilson, the genius behind Porcupine Tree, claims his greatest influence growing up was Pink Floyd. You’ll here it at times, but Steve’s an original… and prolific. You can’t really go wrong with Steve Wilson and/or Porcupine Tree.

(Clair Obscur by Wobbler from their debut album from 2005)

If Beardfish represents Sweden, then Wobbler is an apt representative of Norway. There’s some definite similarities there; maybe it’s a Scandinavian thing. After about ten listens, this song actually begins to make good sense. If there’s a particular part of the song you don’t care for, don’t worry, just give it a few bars and it’ll change completely. It seems to me that the Scandinavian countries were richly influenced by Frank Zappa.

(Rhythmatist by Dweezil Zappa from his 2006 album Go With What You Know)

Frank’s son carries the Zappa name quite well. The beginning of this one reminds me of Frank’s own G-Spot Tornado… and nice touch to do this one with a full orchestra!

(Freeway Vigilante by Banned from Utopia from the Frank Zappa tribute album So Yuh Don’t Like Modern Art)

This one’s actually an original, not composed by Frank, but it captures the spirit of FZ perfectly! The band members on this album are Zappa alumni.

(Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With by King Crimson from their 2003 album The Power to Believe)

Crim have been around since 1969… and they’re still going! This song is a scathing parody of pop music in general.

(Hyperventilate by Frost from their album Milliontown)

I just like the way clean piano sound mixes with heavy prog!

(Karma by The Niche from their only album Building Up)

And speaking of piano… this guy can play! This young New York band are perhaps more quirky than proggy, but all of the songs on their only album are worthwhile. This one’s a descent representation.

(Whalehead by Moth Vellum from their 2008 self-titled album)

It seems this artsy band only managed to stick around for one album as well. Perhaps I just need to be patient… I’ve been working on my own band’s second album for ten years already! I’m like that… oops!

And this brings us to the finale. This last song is exactly 21 minutes long and is really a fine masterpiece, so I’ve carved it up into three sections of 7 minutes each. Sorry about the breaks, but what can you do? This is Thieves’ Kitchen’s best effort in my opinion– the whole album.

(The Long Fianchetto by Thieves’ Kitchen from their 2008 album The Water Road)

So why have I done this? Because no one else is…

And in case you haven’t noticed, “I’m playing the long game– the madness of me.”

Um, where’s the eggs? I don’t see any freshly-hatched tadpoles… and man, doesn’t that frog suddenly look really fat? Yikes!

Prior to 2012, we were one world in disunity consciousness, the basis of which Jung referred to as the Collective Unconscious. Post-apocalypse I’ve chosen to call it Humanity’s Collective Consciousness. We agreed to move into Unity… to see/feel what would happen…

Young Eagle has pretty much gotten our whole route mapped out… in his mind– right-side-up. So I’m just walking along thinking… thinking that I’d like to have my mind eviscerated. I know, it sounds nasty, but it’s just turning it inside-out… so that what’s on the inside gets unabashedly displayed on the outside– transparency for opaque sons-of-bitches.

No sooner have I vomited up this thought all over my shirt, than Young Eagle cries out… and flies out… right out of my mind. Who’s left, right?

We were designed to be inward perceivers– real lookers in the seventh direction. But traumatized… and maybe a little confused, we fragmented instead and lost the big picture… of ourselves.

Now, here, in the apocalyptic afterbirth, we’re a collection of about fifteen hundred micro-realities… on one planet… seeking unity… among the cryptic ramblings of Forest intuitives. Sheesh!

Think globally and act locally… and then just drop the act altogether…

And whatever you do… stay tuned!

The Daily Forest Report May 24, 2014 Still Invisible… but not Odourless

by nielskunze on May 24, 2014

(Warning: Some of today’s photos may be less than ideal for appetite stimulation!)

Nature writes the basic narrative while I attend to ornamentation.

Remember these bear tracks from last week?

Well, if this guy is hanging around, claiming this as his preferred territory, it’s only a matter of time before I’d expect to find more definite bear signs in the area… especially now, in the waning period of the Flower Full Moon, when there’s already plenty of new growth on which to feast. (The whole Forest smells of honeysuckle and clover!)

As I’ve mentioned once or thrice, Bear is the natural representative of sovereignty. He answers to no one, taking full personal responsibility for his life here in the Forest… and he knows it. But for a year already, Brother Bear has remained elusive to my visitations, leaving plenty of signs but never being bodily seen. Hence, I have dubbed him the Invisible Bear. It’s as though he keeps reminding us of the importance of sovereignty– having the unencumbered opportunity for self-determination– while simultaneously asking us to look deeply and keenly for the “invisible” ways we are still bound.

Now, having put the fork down and backed away from the Forest Report, you might be thinking to yourself “Hey, the lower portion of Africa there looks a bit squished. What gives?”

Sitka still retains the odd compulsion to be absolutely current with the latest fecal fashions; she just has to be wearing whatever’s trending at the moment. All the really cool dogs are wearing bear shit; didn’t you know? (There are worse shits than bear shit.)

I managed to stop her before she could really work it in between her shoulder blades… and we weren’t too far away from the river. The problem was, however, that I had all three dogs with me, and Sitka and Toby are a couple of real wrestlemaniacs! So while freshly poop-adorned, Sitka proceeded to tackle Toby right into the back of my knees. We went down in a human-hound-hybrid heap! And now my leg was streaked with the urgent scent of sovereignty’s reclamation too! Oh the indignities! I wasn’t about to let it dry there as Nature’s encrusted post-it note, so I used my drinking water to wash it off.

As you can see, the river is fine for poop removal, but somewhat lacks the sparkling clarity of appropriate thirst-quenchingness. Ah well, I survived…

…but I can’t say the same for this poor fellow. At least one of the “Lying Snakes” was dead! (Have you heard the same rumours about elites killing themselves because they genuinely fear the imminent retribution of the masses as their secrets come to light?)

Screen Shot 2014-05-24 at 8.31.55 AM

The ants were already all over the scene. They couldn’t offer any explanation as to how the critter had died, but they laid claim to the prize in a heartbeat. (That must’ve been my heart beating because ants don’t really have a heart… just a really cool exoskeleton– two-toned even!)

Uh-oh, I think I may have lost the plot in all this embellishment! Okay, the bottom line is that there will be a forthcoming TOURS message dealing with sovereignty and its relationship to unity. I should have it out quicker than a mass of ants can dismantle a lying snake!
