The Daily Forest Report July 11, 2015 Foreshadowing Mayhem…?

Two days ago, this was placed on the trail…

Collapsing Paper Mansion

Collapsing Paper Mansion

Over the past two years, wasp nests have come to represent the house-of-cards Matrix world of the elites. This ‘paper mansion’ has seen better days!

The next day it had been moved about twenty feet up the trail…

Heart of the Hive

Heart of the Hive

…directly adjacent to where the heart of the hive had been placed conspicuously on this stump. It seems someone is trying to send a message… and I think it’s easily decipherable. (I’ll leave you to it.)

Surrounded!

Surrounded!

Next, this Forest glutton had been caught in the wrong spot! The ants were relentless!

Mobbed!

Mobbed!

It seemed a cruel thing to watch, but undoubtedly the ants didn’t see it so. This sort of thing happens millions of times every day.

Little Bunny

Little Bunny

The wild rabbit population is still way out of hand! It used to be that I’d see one every few years; now it’s every few days! Sitka found this one down by the river. It had already been dead for a time, so Sitka wasn’t to blame… which leaves a bit of a mystery. How does a bunny get killed… but not eaten? (Rabbits are the representation of New Life– so perhaps there’s a bit of a war going on between the Old and the New.)

Then, yesterday at the power-line, I immediately heard a call which sounded very much to me like the chirp of a young osprey.

I couldn’t spot the youngsters, but the parents made an appearance.

One kept a lookout, while the other instructed the children.

See Ya!

See Ya!

The place where they were teaching the children to hunt was right among the overpopulated Burroughs of Ground Squirrel City. For some reason though, they didn’t want me and the dogs to watch. We moved on…

The osprey were in the very same spot where the two hawks were playing the day before. So many raptors sharing the same territory is an indication of an overabundance of prey. It’s definitely the land of plenty… and finally we all know it!
