Dexter’s Elixir Part 1

They’re tired of their lives
The Lava Goddess tries
To hone their rusty knives
And then She gives them back
Give me a spot of Black
Give me a spot of Black
Free from your deadly tack… just give me…
Give me a spot of Black!
Now you look back on those witches burning
Those on the Other Side waving good-bye
I’m not the only one turning my back again
I can’t douse the flames with the tears that you cry… why?
City’s gone away
(Now you’re in his trance)
Fairies come out to play
(Puppets start to dance)
Lookout Dexter!
The dancers start to sing
The music guides the strings
The peace the fire brings…
To the simple folk
Faces in the smoke
Faces in the smoke!
Cast off this mortal yoke… there… is…
Faces in the smoke!
Now you look back on those witches burning
Those on the Other Side waving good-bye
The stones in your moat are turning black again
I’m trapped in the castle by tears that you cry…why
Free from the social chain (Where did the people go?)
Hallowed be thy name… (Call me Dexter now…)
Champion of constant change (See the rivers flow…)
The tides roll in again (See the rivers flow!)
Smoke over vast oceans!
Smoke over vast oceans!
A billion small islands… in the…
Smoke over vast oceans!
Now you look back on those witches burning
Those on the Other Side welcome you back
Heavy your footfalls turning around again
The tears on your face… white lines on black
Down by the gallows the rivers flow… Down by the gallows the rivers flow… Down by the gallows the rivers flow… Down by the gallows the rivers flow…
