The Daily Forest Report April 23, 2014 Shots Fired: Final Warning or Initial Takedown?

by nielskunze on April 23, 2014

The way that events interweave is intriguing to say the least!

Things felt almost back to normal– and by normal I mean uniquely extraordinary. The energy of the area was smoothened out when I stopped to pick up the casings of some spent ammo. The Forest critters had all returned.

The main interplay was between Woodpecker and Eagle again. It was in the area near the swamp where I found the remains of numerous clay targets (skeet) shattered and littered about the forest floor that Woodpecker was kicking up a continuous fuss. I could hear him in the nearby treetops… shouting at someone. Suddenly, the screeching cry of Eagle joined the chorus, and I observed a very young eagle– who looked like she’d only learned to fly yesterday– struggle across the sky above me to the incessant harassment of Woodpecker. Eagle was quite small and complaining bitterly. Even after Woodpecker ceased his pursuit, she cried her distress for several minutes more.

The interpretation is getting a bit tricky. In the past week or so, Eagle has come to represent either the true spirit of humanity, or alternatively the US government. (Two very contrasting symbols, I know!) In this instance, the Eagle was very young, a new generation… so a few possibilities present themselves for our consideration.

With the incredible proliferation of Prairie Crocuses (pasqueflowers) appearing this year on the Mesa, I’m inclined to think that this young Eagle is representing a rebirth. Woodpecker too signals the onset of new rhythms, and hence, a new dance.

Either as the symbolic rebirth of the human spirit on Earth or as the rebirth of the Republic of the USA, Eagle was definitely a bit distressed with the magnitude of change currently being forced upon her. She had a hell of a lot to say about it too. Recently, there have been rumours about the reinstatement of the Republic, but until there’s an official public announcement in this regard, we can only take it as unsubstantiated gossip. It’s still a frustratingly wait-and-see moment, but Eagle with her excellent clear vision promises an imminent disclosure forthwith.

I look forward to our next encounter…
