The Daily Forest Report March 12, 2014 Gnawing the Bones of Yesteryear
by nielskunze on March 12, 2014
Remember the good ol’ days? Yeah, neither do I. Honestly, life has never felt this brand new before. Okay, perhaps when I was an infant, but my memory is a bit foggy for that period.
Seriously, if it wasn’t for all the reminders of what has just passed, I swear Sitka and I would just walk straight off the edge of the future… like the flat-earth version of linear-timers!
If you feel like you’ve perhaps misplaced your head recently, Sitka can help with that!
In need of more backbone? People telling you that you need to grow a spine in order to face the challenges before you? Sitka can help with that too!
The changing landscape of our lives promises to offer many surprising rewards. We’ll have to remember to look for all the treasures though. Invoking ancient memory-retrieval programs to reveal all that’s been frozen in linear time– all that we thought was gone for good– promises to baffle, amaze and delight!
Patches of bearberries poking through the snow, offering up little sugar-bombs is more my style than gnawing the actual bones. Sitka insists on receiving her fair share of those too. I like to combine them with the fifth-dimensional juniper berries for an exotic “spice berry” treat. It still amazes me that I can strand myself daily in this sea of ice and snow and fill my senses with the wonder of such anomalous visitations.
We are aliens here… exploring the New Earth for the very first time!
