The Free Radical

Sometimes I’m just walking along minding my own business and perhaps laughing at Sitka’s antics when suddenly it’s as though the sky opens up and a big preternatural hand reaches down through the opening and begins poking me in the squishy parts of my cerebral cortex. It’s a bit uncomfortable and very hard to ignore!

And then there’s really nothing like the rattling of bones to get my attention… and keep it. As Sitka delighted in carrying around her favourite elk leg, it sounded exactly like a set of wooden wind chimes clanking in the breeze.

“Energy and consciousness…” At first that’s all I ‘got.’ Okay, I start thinking to myself, these are two fairly important themes running throughout most of my writing… but I’ll need a bit more. “Energy AND consciousness…”

Alright, the two together; I get that. More please. “Energy and consciousness are the two foundational aspects directly determining the outcome of any undertaking. The specific qualities and quantity of energy along with the intents and purposes consciousness attaches to it determines– above all else– the result of any human endeavour.

“Energy is neither good nor bad. It is fuel for fulfilling purposes. All purposes require energy in order to come to fruition.

“Many wonder at this late date why darkness seems to still flourish so triumphantly in your human societies. Has darkness not nearly been vanquished by the light?… you wonder… for you are told… repeatedly.

“Listen well: Light is not the opposite of darkness, just as ’empty’ is not the opposite of ‘water.’ Darkness is an absence; it is unable to produce light-energy of its own and remain dark. Dark purposes can only be fuelled via stolen light. Light-energy is the basic building block of physicality. All things are constructed from light… even dark agendas. You cannot build anything from darkness alone… as darkness simply describes a lack of energy.

“Humans are powerful energy vortices. You are like cosmic batteries able to recharge yourselves at will. You are ignorant little power stations.

“Bliss comes easy to humans– though it is nearly always attributed to outside forces, a bestowal, a gift. Essentially, it is what you are. Many have been tricked into summoning bliss while sitting on their hands. You build and accumulate energy much like an electrical capacitor… and selflessly offer it up to the world at large. You have been conditioned to believe that this is only proper. Think again!

“With power comes responsibility; the more energy involved, the greater the responsibility to wield it wisely with clearly defined purpose and intent. As you throw your light willy-nilly out into the world, merely hoping for the best, what do you suppose prevents those with dark agendas from using it for their own nefarious designs?

“Do you suppose that dark entities may only feed on and commandeer the so-called negative energies? Think of the energy of worship and adoration– variations of bliss. Elaborate religious structures have been set in place for millennia in order to covertly siphon off just such ‘positive’ energies too. Energy is energy; this seems too obvious to even ponder, but it is critical to your further understanding.

“As you share your tremendous resources of light-energy, you have a dire responsibility to condition it, to purpose it, to funnel it into a specific well-defined intention. If you merely throw off your light with vague notions of hoping for the best, you feed the beast instead. Please stop feeding the vampires!

“Energy AND consciousness… If you concentrate on the one while ignoring the other, you can make no real progress. Blissful ignorance is not the answer to anything… except the fervent prayers of the dark!”

Of course I raised questions in my mind about unconditional love… I mean, isn’t that the ultimate? Isn’t that what we’re here to share after all? Here’s the terse answer I got:

“In your present state, humanity, you know virtually nothing of unconditional love. Once you truly inhabit/exhibit the Christ-Consciousness, only then may we speak gainfully of unconditional love. Until then, accept that you are a conditioned creature whose consciousness is still bound. Use your energy wisely to unbind your own minds before you so ardently seek to give it away… for those who seek only to bind you will continue to gobble it up… unless you, yourself, individually take steps to prevent them.”
