The Daily Forest Report February 12, 2014 Holding Sacred Space
by nielskunze on February 12, 2014
After a week-long hiatus we’re back. The extreme cold has abated and now we’re into heavy snowfall warnings. The groundhog appears to have been correct in predicting 6 more weeks of winter!
Of quick note, Sitka was ecstatic to be back out roaming the woods, snuffling and prancing, running, jumping and pouncing. We did hear the hunting hounds once again way off in the distance, but we both remained unconcerned.
The traffic patterns in the woods during the week of our absence was interesting in that there was a great deal of activity surrounding the area of the Mesa, but the Mesa itself was pristine and untouched. I find that interesting because during the week of ceremony forging our alliance with the Animal Nations of the Forest previously, they all visited the Mesa, specifically at the place where I buried the agreement.
As I’ve mentioned before, the Mesa is an Earth-energy power-spot that is likely situated upon or very near a ley line. On February 2nd there was a global ley line activation meditation/ceremony which took place all over the planet. I chose to write (somewhat cryptically) of that event in the February Newsletter within the context of the New Earth story; that was my main form of participation.
As Sitka and I are recalibrating ourselves to the Forest vibe, two very brief but very clear messages came through. I feel that it is rather likely that one or both will be expanded upon in the days to come.
The first comes from Elk whose constant presence virtually surrounds the entire Mesa. Their feeding habits and bedding down sites can be seen everywhere near the Mesa.
Elk’s message simply states “Hold your sacred space during the coming storm; it will be needed.” My interpretation is that Elk is not merely referring to the challenging weather. I would expect something else of obvious significance to emerge on the world stage this month as well.
The second message was a bit more cryptic, and honestly I don’t know who ‘spoke’ these words, but they appeared unbidden in my mind a few times during quiet moments of reflection during yesterday’s outing. “Human, you ARE the melting pot.”
It’s an intriguing jumping-off point for many contemplations… in my mind at least. Please stay tuned… and well grounded in your sacred space!
