The Daily Forest Report February 6, 2014 The Lack Thereof

Despite the brilliant sunshine, we are currently stuck in a deep freeze. It’s been a few days already since we were able to go for a walk. Our nights are -30C and the days are slow to warm up.
Additionally, I will be away from my blog for a few days. I will also be away from Sitka. Boo! Our family is celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday. Yay! He and my Mom went to the coast for a little getaway. The rest of the family is surprising him there; he doesn’t suspect a thing.
I will leave my computer with Sitka, so she can post to the blog in my absence if she wants. The relevant passwords are already logged into the computer. You’ll just have to forgive her clumsy paws; she’s not a very accurate typer… yet.
I should be back in action here by Tuesday, February 12. Until then, open your heart and expand. I know my heart is already getting way too big for my chest! Catch some sunshine and stay warm.
