The Daily Forest Report January 9, 2014 “Hey, Quit Hoggin’ All the Radiation!”

Picture my brain covered in post-it notes. The messages are piling up!
Today’s directive is actually a composite message coming from Sabaoth (the Gnostic name for the Sun), the River and a blogger named Laura Bruno.
It began a few days ago during the latest cold snap. It was natural for me to begin talking to the sun. Naturally, I asked her (feminine according to the Gnostics) if she couldn’t do something immediate to warm things up a bit. By my reckoning that occurred right around the time the latest X1 flare was discharged from her surface with an accompanying CME– directed straight at Earth. The brief words accompanying that solar event given to me were “You have every opportunity now to redefine your personal relationship to everything.”
A message like that is just too big to really be practical. (Just what one might expect from Sabaoth!)
When I got to the river, I noticed a couple of things right away. First, there seemed to be a lot more water flowing than usual for the middle of winter. This is a glacial fed creek and there had been no recent melting. Secondly, there were many huge chunks and slabs of ice breaking off and choking up the flow.
Once again the river had spilled its banks and was flowing directly down my usual path. It was cutting new winter tributaries through the forest trees.
To me the message was clear: “You’re not venturing far enough outside of the familiar box!” Again, the message was pretty general, but coupled with some of my recent reading, I had a good idea where this was going.
Typically, we think of things like the weather as something that happens to us, quite beyond our control. The Sun had told me flatly “Not true!”
And then there’s things like the radiation from Japan which has lately been saturating the alternative news again. These types of reports tend to put us automatically into victim-consciousness. “Oh well, there’s nothing I can do about it. We’re all getting fried!”
The core of the issue (which is currently in full meltdown) is each of us choosing for ourselves to move from passive acceptance of our supposed victimhood into a place of creative empowerment. ‘Shit happens’ is the old paradigm… and all who wish to cling to it are certainly welcome to. The clarion call of the New Age however, draws us into actively redefining every aspect of our own personal relationship to reality– in whatever ways occur to us.
Consider the radiation dilemma. “Radiation is bad.” This bit of programming has been very insistent, and few would dispute it. One who vehemently and adamantly disputes this though is Sabaoth– the Sun. Radiation is energy; it is neither inherently good nor bad. It is how it is utilized which qualifies it thus.
Radiation stimulates mutation, a driving force in evolution. Fukushima has thrown down the gauntlet. “Evolve or die!”
“Have you ever noticed,” asks the River, “that historically during any extinction event, whether pandemic, natural disaster or industrial accident, there are always survivors– those who come through relatively unscathed? Is it just dumb luck? Hint: luck is the last hope of the victim mentality.
“There are always those who’ve completely rooted out the victim within themselves. They simply refuse to allow shit to happen to them. They are on purpose, fulfilling their missions, redefining their relationship to the world around them– as is everyone’s prerogative.
“You have the right to personally contract with the Sun and the Earth to negotiate a fairer climate for yourself. You may create your own micro-reality wherein nothing is left to blind chance. Your input is valued and acted upon to the degree that it doesn’t interfere with the rights of others.
“You can gobble up all of the radiation on Earth and transmute it into the energy fuelling further growth… or, you can passively accept that there’s nothing you can do; it’s all beyond the scope of your personal influence… and just quietly and patiently await your death.
“It is the time for earnest experimentation. Use your imaginations to come up with ridiculous and fanciful solutions to whatever ‘unwanted’ circumstances confront you. What have you really got to lose? The ‘dignity’ of your victimhood?”
