The Daily Forest Report October 29, 2013 Striking the Balance

I haven’t even mentioned Raven this year at all, despite there being two who have kept a very close eye on me throughout the whole season. I usually hear them cawing and croaking in the distance… talking about me… but never to me.

In local native folklore there is a strong association between Raven and Moose. It was a little more than a week ago that I met face-to-face with Moose and was astonished by his very dark black colouring. To me, this emphasizes the relationship even more. Moose and Raven work very powerfully in tandem. I was wondering how long it might be before Raven would finally face me directly.

Well, they’re still mostly talking from the shadows, so I’m forced to use this painted image from my Dad to represent them here. They had a lot to say this day… and I suspect there’s still a whole lot more to come.

“We would speak this day on the division of energies into masculine and feminine. It is perhaps the most basic dyad of all… and there remains significant confusion.

“Within the manifest universe, it is the feminine nature which taps directly into the wellspring of creativity. It is the female who has unfettered access to the raw creative force. She is primary.

“It is the secondary role of the masculine to purpose, direct and shape the raw energy of creation… which has been accessed by the feminine. The female draws the power, and the male defines it.

“It is a failsafe system when unbalance begins to dominate. Human culture is grossly patriarchal– which is to say, unbalanced– and so it inevitably moves into correction. As the masculine energy continues to dominate and seeks to move ever further into patriarchal control, it cuts itself off from the true power to create. The male has no direct access to the undifferentiated quantum field of creation. It depends upon the female for that. As such, in a masculine-dominated society the creations comprising that culture tend to be highly repetitious, a mere expansion of scale over and over. The male energy of your culture possesses a crude template of hierarchical controlling systems and structures which it employs again and again, repeating the very same creations on an ever-widening scale. Look at your world! The male energy has sought uniformity and conformity at every turn.

“It is the feminine, however, which provides access to the raw energy needed for novel creativity. The male without the female is unable to devise anything new… caught in masturbatory repetition… and making quite a mess!

“It must be pointed out that all humans are equally masculine and feminine despite outward appearances. Furthermore, the balance required for clear and consistent manifestation does not occur externally. It is an internal balance. When a male seeks a female outwardly it is for the sole purpose of teaching that inner balance. Human individuals are complete in themselves, but their awareness must be balanced. Your partnerships are about achieving that exquisite inner poise… in each individual.

“Then, individuals of any gender may consciously choose to come together in collaboration to create– accessing the raw energy through their own feminine nature, and subsequently shaping it with their own masculine impulses. There is absolutely no limit to what such balanced individuals may achieve in their collaborative endeavours. Just imagine!”
