The Daily Forest Report September 24, 2013 The Unrelenting Perpetuity of Awakening

Dreams within dreams… worlds within worlds…
Dragonflies are the emissaries of light. They have watched over this planet for more than 180 million years. Their aerial prowess, keen eyesight and unmatched speed– up to 30 mph– make dragonflies out to be about the coolest mother-effers in the insect kingdom!
Although some dragonflies and damselflies do have pigmented skin, most often their iridescent blues and greens are the result of refracted light from the outer scales of their bodies. Often a dragonfly will undergo several “colour changes” during its adult life, but these are merely changes in the angle of refraction– a trick of the light. As masters of illusions involving the light, they easily see right through any paradigms of the false light.
Additionally, dragonflies spend the first two years of their lives as nymphs in the watery element before their metamorphosis into high-flying adults. Water is the element of emotion; air is the element of higher mentation; Dragonfly is the representation of both.
“There is much talk among humans about awakening… and many are merely talking in their sleep. To the conditioned human mind, awakening is a finished thing… an endpoint. Know this: whenever a human declares ‘I am awake,’ this statement heralds the moment when a new dream of self-deception is begun. To declare an end to awakening is a sure sign of continued slumber.
“Currently, you slumber in layers upon layers of dreams/deceptions. Awakening is truly a never-ending process; to pretend otherwise merely awakens you to the deeper sleep of others. You cannot awaken others; they may only choose to awaken themselves when they are finished sleeping in whatever layer of the collective dream they are processing. Do not concern yourselves with the sleep of others. Your own perpetual awakening is quite enough to alarm them… haha!
“Do not allow your mentations to break away from the tethers of true feeling. Awakening feels really, really good. Remember this; it is crucial! Seek the moments that make you exclaim ‘Aha!’ Ongoing awakening is ongoing discovery. Your explorations should lead to ecstasy… not a deepening frustration with the depth of sleep of others. Would you deny them the ecstasy of their own discoveries? You cannot know what another will discover to lead them out of the painted corner of their dreams. Let them be… and soar to the heights of your own deepest feelings.
“You are the resolution of paradox.”
Not too sure how the “paradox” thing is supposed to play out… but that’s what Dragonfly said.
