If I had only one day to live… I’d want it to be just like yesterday.

Why? What happened?

Nothing.

I guess it was nice that the sun was shining fiercely; the Forest had some reawakened springlike fragrances here and there; the dogs were stupidly happy, like they always are… but it was just an ordinary day… and yet, I just couldn’t seem to shake this ridiculous blissfulness that had gotten a hold of me.

Rubbers

Rubbers

Happy tears streamed down my face; some might call it rain, but why?

Swampland

Swampland

We stood in a swampland where normally there is no swampland. But now… there is no ‘normally.’

So what gives?

Well, quite simply, I get to choose how I experience everything I experience, so why not choose the best? I have limited input into choosing exactly what I experience, but how I experience it all, that’s mine. That’s where joy will come up when I let it– in the how, in the now, in the know.

It is how we FEEL about our experience which is of import. Our thoughts arise for the adjustment of feeling. The heart is the navigator of feeling, slowing and quickening according to what is felt… and the whole body is slowed or quickened as a result, in divine syncopation.

Detour

Detour

Although out there we may be forced to take many detours, honestly, nothing can stand between us and our feelings without our consent. Talk about all-powerful!

Mouse Tunnels

Mouse Tunnels

The ‘mouse tunnels’ of our timidity lie exposed in the melting snow, and our beneath-the-surface networking yields promises of this deeper connectivity. But first, we connect to ourselves, to our feelings– and claim them, to our thoughts– and shape them.

The whole world is melting, and all that was frozen within us begins to flow again…

Peace and love are easy; remember joy.
