The Free Radical

Instead of the River’s usual rising,
It’s rather cutting ever deeper,
Washing the graves from soiled minds,
The brainwash purged from every sleeper.

And who wears their heart on their sleeve anymore?
The Naked Emperor for all his distractions
Pours out words and rhetoric so empty and hollow;
His lies made obvious by each of his actions.

And as all that was hidden stands up in the light,
There’s hearts here among us wise to the ploy.
In a relentless moment of shocking sunlight
All hearts burst to these teardrops of joy!
