Remember the good ol’ days? Yeah, neither do I. Honestly, life has never felt this brand new before. Okay, perhaps when I was an infant, but my memory is a bit foggy for that period.<\/p>\n

Seriously, if it wasn’t for all the reminders of what has just passed, I swear Sitka and I would just walk straight off the edge of the future\u2026 like the flat-earth version of linear-timers!<\/p>\n

Patches of bearberries poking through the snow, offering up little sugar-bombs is more my style than gnawing the actual bones. Sitka insists on receiving her fair share of those too. I like to combine them with the fifth-dimensional juniper berries for an exotic “spice berry” treat. It still amazes me that I can strand myself daily in this sea of ice and snow and fill my senses with the wonder of such anomalous visitations.<\/p>\n
