Sometimes it’s very difficult to get my camera to see exactly what I see.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

The enigmatic conifer, Larch (or Tamarack), is one of the last to shed its leaves (needles). It will continue its autumnal light display well into November– in celebration.<\/p>\n

As they stand now in radiant golden glory, they naturally draw attention like exploding suns rooted to the Earth. They are filled with light… and the desire to share.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

“Everything is alight with slow-burning life.
\nThere are no dead things.
\nApparent divisions are transparently alive,
\nLike dragonfly wings… reflecting the light.<\/p>\n

“We are all one another clasping branches or hands…
\nMine…? Yours…? No matter.
\nWe burn with the same answers rooted in identical questions,
\nAs pieces and leaves scatter, a quiet wind beckons…<\/p>\n

“Change is upon us, beneath us, within us…
\nHow do you feel right now?
\nAs fragment or splinter lost in bone-chilling winter,
\nOr as one of my self-burning boughs?<\/p>\n

“Worlds reach out to you, and want to connect…
\nWe are all here; yes, here…
\nThese departures– my leaves– leave nothing undone…
\nA shedding of happy tears to honour our sun.”<\/p>\n
